Description
Designed as an orchid, its leaves set with variously-shaped diamonds of green, brown, orange, yellow, blue, pink and near-colourless tints, fitted unsigned Wartski case.
Provenance
By family tradition, the following lot was acquired from Wartski during the 1950s.

no. 16215850, stating that the diamond weighing 0.27 carat is Natural Fancy Bluish Green, I1 clarity; no. 16215857, stating that the diamond weighing 0.60 carat is Natural Fancy Intense Yellow-Green, SI2 clarity; no. 16215819 stating that the diamond weighing 0.79 carat is Natural Fancy Deep Yellowish Orange, I1 clarity; no. 16215854 stating that the diamond weighing 0.46 carat is Natural Fancy Intense Yellow-Green, I1 clarity; no. 16215852 stating that the diamond weighing 0.41 carat is Natural Fancy Vivid Orangy Yellow, I2 clarity; no. 16215855 stating that the diamond weighing 0.14 carat is Artificially Irradiated Fancy Greenish Blue, inscribed to the girdle 'Irradiated.
Several very fluorescent stones especially the yellow tinted stones, some appear a little milky in appearance and these are highly fluorescent. Evidence of solder near to later pin fitting and hook catch. Very light scratches to mount and polished stem consistent with age and wear. In excellent condition.
