EMERALD, RUBY AND DIAMOND BRACELET, LATE 19TH CENTURY

Description

The central plaque set with an oval cabochon emerald within a surround of circular-cut diamonds, to links collet-set with cabochon emeralds alternating with circular-cut rubies and diamonds, engraved to the reverse with Chinese characters for 'Health', 'Longevity', 'Peace' and 'Prosperity', length approximately 175mm.

Condition

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.00-7.00 carats of mixed colours and clarity. Emeralds of slightly yellowish green hue, moderate saturation of colour, medium light tone, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye with minor surface abrasions, mounted in closed settings.Rubies well matched in hue with moderate abrasions to surface facets and typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Safety clip to side of clasp. In good condition.
