Description
Comprising: a rectangular vanity case decorated with a pierced engraved scene of birds, butterflies, floral and foliate motifs, applied at intervals with circular-cut rubies, opening to reveal two compartments of different sizes, a comb holder, two hinged cylindrical holders, one for lipstick and the other for a cigarette holder and a mirror, measurements approximately 130mm x 85mm x 18mm, signed Boucheron Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks; accompanied by a square powder compact, similarly designed measurements approximately 75mm x 75mm x 14mm, signed Boucheron Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks, and a lipstick holder en suite, signed Boucheron Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Rectangular vanity case, square powder compact and lipstick holder stamped with French assay marks and each numbered 875012, weighing approximately 532, 238 and 50.6 grams respectively. Rubies well matched on average. Good saturation of colour. Modern make-up and comb accompany this lot. In very good condition.
