Description
Each earring designed as a stylised tassel, set throughout with single- and brilliant-cut diamonds, to a single oval ruby, post and clip fittings; the brooch of floral and foliate design pavé-set with single-cut diamonds and set to the stamen of each flower with circular- and oval rubies.
Condition
Earrings: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.0 - 5.5 carats, estimated colour H-I, estimated clarity VS on average. Rubies a medium strongly purplish (pinkish) red with moderate saturation of colour, estimated to weigh approximately 0.77 and 0.90 carats, well matched in colour. Typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens, both stones with small chips and abrasions only visible with magnification. Strong clip fittings.
Brooch: Stamped 750 to one side of pin. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.5 - 4.0 carats. Rubies a medium and light red-purple (pinkish) colour, typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens. Pin fitting a little bent. Sliding safety catch. Both pieces in good condition.
