Description

Set to the centre with a pear-shaped emerald flanked by brilliant-cut diamonds, size L, maker's marks for Asprey & Garrard, British hallmarks for London, 1999.

Condition

Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Emerald measuring 9.4mm x 7.2mm x 5.4mm, estimated to weigh approximately 1.81-1.83 carats. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.78-0.82 carats, estimated colour G-H, estimated clarity VVS-VS, of very slightly yellowish-green hue, medium tone and moderately strong saturation of colour. Slightly included with typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Very minor scratching to shank consistent with age and wear.
