Description
Designed as a stylised open work tied ribbon bow, centring on a circular cluster, suspending a pear-shaped drop, set with foil backed mixed-cut topaz, table- and rose-cut diamonds, detachable drop.
Condition
Mounted in silver. Topaz an intense yellowish orange, to pinkish orange hues of various saturations. Due to the foil backing it is difficult to ascertain the true colour and saturation of colour in the stones. Some displaying typical characteristics of topaz. Some stones abraded and some with chips visible with a 10x lens. Diamonds of mixed colours and clarities. Original fitting to reverse. Silver discoloured with indentations consistent with age and wear. Heavy, weighing approximately 117.7 grams. In very good condition.
