COLLECTION OF PASTE AND DIAMOND JEWELLERY, PORTUGUESE BMID 18TH CENTURY AND LATER

Comprising: a ring inset to the centre with a foil backed mixed-cut paste, within a border of similarly-set circular paste, size K ¾, mid 18th century; a Latin cross, each cardinal point terminating in a stylised Fleur-de-Lys, set with foil backed table-cut paste of green tint accented by similarly-set circular-cut paste of near-colourless tint, late 18th century, together with an open work pendant set with rose-cut diamonds, hinged pendant loop, later brooch fitting, late 19th century.

Ring with abrasions to facet edges, several small chips to paste border. Cross with traces of gilding to reverse, abrasions to paste facet edges, three green paste with large chips in right and bottom cardinal points. Diamond pendant, composite, later suspension loop and brooch pin to reverse, silver heavily oxidized.
