Description
The necklace composed of four uniform rows of cultured pearls measuring approximately 8.5mm, to an oval open work clasp set throughout with cushion-shaped, circular- and single-cut diamonds, further accented with brilliant-cut diamond spacers, length approximately 335mm, composite, clasp late 19th Century, accompanied by a similarly-set bracelet , the cultured pearls measuring approximately 7.2mm, length approximately 175mm.
Condition
Necklace: Clasp with estimated total diamond weight approximately 8.0 - 9.0 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. Cultured pearls creamy body colour, well matched in size and colour, several with rosé overtones, medium lustre, some with cultivation marks. Remaining diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.20 - 1.40 carats, bright, lively stones. Secure clasp, with hinged pendant fitting.
Bracelet: well matched in size, rosé overtones, medium to high lustre. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.50 - 1.60 carats, bright, lively stones. Secure clasp. Both pieces in very good condition.
