OPAL PENDANT NECKLACE AND OPAL AND DIAMOND RING

The pendant necklace centring on an oval opal, to a surmount and within a surround millegrain-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, to a trace link chain spectacle-set at intervals with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 440mm; together with a ring of complimentary design, size P.

Both opals displaying typical play-of-colour with greens and blues most prominent. There are small scratches (polishing lines) to the edges of the opal on the ring. Large opal to pendant with hairline fracture reaching from lower right hand side to nearly the centre. No crazing. Estimated total diamond weight in pendant necklace approximately 2.0 - 2.40 carats, and approximately 0.75 - 0.85 carats, bright, lively stones throughout. Condition as new.
