Description

Comprising: a necklace, composed of three rows of graduated pearls, decorated to either side with stylised scroll plaques, set with circular-, single- and baguette diamonds, to a clasp centring on a step-cut diamond within a border of rose-cut stones, length approximately 665mm, one small diamond deficient; a bracelet, composed of six rows of uniform pearls, to a central open work plaque, millegrain-set with circular-, single- and rose-cut diamonds, with bar spacers and clasp set with brilliant-cut stones, length approximately 185mm; and a pair of ear pendants, each cushion-shaped diamond surmount, to a stylised scroll connection set with single-cut diamonds, suspending a cultured pearl drop, screw back fittings, composite.

Condition

Necklace: creamy-yellow body colour, rosé to grey overtones, medium to high lustre. Safety catch to underside, secure clasp. Principal diamond in clasp estimated to weigh approximately 0.75 - 0.90 carats, estimated colour K-M, with a brown tint, estimated clarity I . Remaining stones estimated to weigh approximately 2.50-3.00 carats. Bright and lively stones. Composite jewel; side plaques 1930's, rest later. Earrings: The principle diamonds spread at approximately 0.65 and 0.75 carats, estimated colour J-K and L-M respectively , SI clarity. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. Cultured pearl drops, one grey white body colour with medium lustre, and the other creamy bodycolour with low lustre. The bracelet: Cultured pearls creamy-yellow bodycolour. Composite jewel; central plaque early 20th century and clasp later. Collection in good condition.
