  • Height 28 in.; width 24 ½ in.; depth 8 ¼ in.
  • 71 cm; 62 cm; 21 cm
the ormolu chapter ring inscribed Lesieur Paris, rue du Temple, contained in a rectangular case surmounted by the bust of Aesculape, flanked by a draped female figure and an ormolu pedestal  and patinated bronze serpent, the rouge griotte base above an ormolu border cast with leaf tips.



 

Condition

The joint of the dial door would need some minor repair. Minor marks and scratches to the ormolu, particulalry to the dial plinth, as visible from the catalogue illustration. Some wear to the lacquer of the patinated bronzes. Very minor chips to the marble. In otherwise good condition.
