Description

  • height 36 1/2 in.; width 22 in.
  • 92.5 cm; 55.5 cm
each with a cartouche-shaped backrest, the seat carved with guilloche, raised on tapered fluted legs.  Together with a German rococo parcel-gilt side chair.  3 pieces.

Condition

Wear and chips to the decoration and carving. The pair of chairs in overall sound and stable condition. The single chair with a crack to the lower left section of the seat rail that would need to be restored. The upholstery is severly distressed to the pair as visible from the catalogue illustration, with some wear and fading to the single chair. With some old worm to the chairs, particularly to the back of the single chair.
