Description

  • height 31 1/2 in.; width 63 3/4 in.; depth 30 1/2 in.
  • 80 cm; 162 cm; 77.5 cm
with a veined breche violette marble top, the front en arbalette; the frieze pierced with scrolls intertwined with oak branches, raised on scrolled cross-hatched supports joined by a molded stretchers centered by C-scrolls enclosing two dragons.  Regilt.

Condition

Restorations to the marble. Minor chips to the gilding consistent with age. Old hairline age and construction cracks consistent with age. Minor losses to the carving, particularly to the apron as visible from the catalogue illustration. In otherwise good condition.
