A Japanese Imari Coffee Urn mounted in later ormolu the porcelain 18th century

the moulded body with tripod legs decorated in underglaze blue, colored enamels and gilt, depicting Shichifukujin (seven gods of luck) merry-making, the bulbous top decorated with three lobed panels of rabbits in the sky; fitted with later ormolu finial and spout.

Cover: generally good condition, however the porcelain has not been examined beneath the mounts. Urn: One leg has an approximately 1 x 1 1/2 inch section of the base of the urn around the leg broken off in several pieces and glued back. Otherwise in generally good condition.
