Condition

Color: lighter, softer and less yellow overall than illustrated. Border is cream - not yellow. Field is soft red and pale pink. Pile: generally good, very dense 1/4 - 1/3 inch overall. Scattered splits with minor losses, mostly in guard borders, ranging from approximately 2.5in. to 6in. in size - foundation is weak in areas - recommend securing and reinforcing. Scattered spot stains and discoloration - not serious. Sides: sound. Ends: sound wth original flat weave turned under and sewn down. Fabric strip sewn to reverse on all four sides.
