the white enamelled dial in a globe-shaped case flanked by the figure of Aurora lifting the veil of darkness, raised on a rectangular ormolu-mounted patinated bronze base.
Condition
Minor marks to the ormolu, as visible from the catalogue illustration. Very minor losses to the ormolu mounts. Areas of ormolu have been regilt. In otherwise good condition.
