A large Restauration pietra dura mantel clock circa 1820

with a later dial and movement, within a rectangular stepped case centered by a vase of flowers of various hardstones including lapis, Sicilian jasper, granito orbiculare and porphyry.

Minor marks and very minor chips to the top as visible from the catalogue illustration. With some restorations to the pietra dura inlay, particularly to the base of the vase. The pietre dure appear to have been varnished. Some slight separation to theinverted granite cornice above the base, however the separation is not loose and very stable. In overall good restored condition.
