- height 9 1/4 in.
- 23.5 cm
painted to resemble a gourd, the body molded with three large leaves and a bud, the domed cover with stalk form knop, crossed swords in underglaze-blue. Some retouching to flaked enamels.

The Collection of Dorothy Hirshon, sold, Sotheby's, New York, September 26, 1998, lot 303.
Condition
Cover: there is a ¼ in. retouched flake on stem and some small patches of retouched flaking around lower edge. The tip of knop is restored and has presumably been chipped.
Pot: there is a ¼ in. and 1/8 in. retouched flake on neck on side in catalogue photo and a ¼ in. retouched flake on other side. The overspray extends somewhat beyond the flakes. There are several larger areas of retouched flaking along lower part of body approximately ½ in. above the foot there is a 1/16 in. chip flake to edge of spout.
