Description

  • height 20 in.; width 14 3/4 in.
  • 50 cm; 37.5 cm
the white enamelled dial inscribed, Lépine Hgr du Roy Place de Louis X*, surmounted by a bacchante and raised on a bier borne by addorsed putti astride rams, on an ellipitcal white marble base and toupie feet.

Condition

One key; one pendulum. Tiny cracks to dial, hands possibly replaced. Ormolu with rubbing and wear consistent with age; marble base discolored in places and with some edge chips.
