  • height 10 1/2 in.
  • 26.7 cm
the tureen molded with rococo cartouches and finely painted with floral sprigs above a fluted lower body, set with shell and scroll handles and raised on four scroll feet, the cover molded with diaper panels enamelled with small blue and yellow flowerheads about a cauliflower and artichoke form knop, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue. Minor chips.

Condition

Cover: ends of two leaves on the knop missing. Small 1/8 in. enamel flake on one leaf. Otherwise in good condition. Tureen: ¼in. and 1/8 in. shallow chips to one handle. Otherwise in good condition. Molding on the tureen is extremely crisp.
