the white enamelled dial enscribed Jqs L. Paris à Paris, contained within a drum-shaped case, surmounted by a pair of swans drinking from a fountain issuing reeds, flanked by patinated bronze sphynxes above stepped rectangular white and black marble plinths mounted with stars, on paw feet, the rectangular base of breakfront outline, fitted with ormolu anthemion and Medusa masks, on ormolu feet.
