the white enamelled dial inscribed Corniquet fb. St Honoré, within a drum-shaped case surmounted by the figure of Minerva flanked by fluted columns on rectangular pedestals mounted with military trophies, raised on a rectangular ormolu-mounted base and later ormolu feet.
Philippe-Jacques Corniquet, maître in 1785, recorded working in Paris, Faubourg St. Honoré in 1789, Place Beauveau in 1804, and rue Miromesnil in 1810.
