A Louis XV/XVI silvered bronze, brass and ebony bracket clock
circa 1770
the white enamelled dial enscribed Liautaud à Marseille, with enamelled reserves for hours and minutes within a cartouche-shaped case surmounted by a putto on a scallopshell holding a cockerel, the sides flanked by acanthus and greek-key motifs with cone finials on similar key feet above a bracket centered by a lion mask issuing swags, the whole terminating in a floral and foliate finial with a fruit knop.
