A stool from the Carlhian collection with similarly carved scrolled stretchers is illustrated, Jarry & Devinoy, Le Siège Français, Fribourg, 1973, pl. 43; another stool formerly in the collection of Jacqueline Delubac, of almost identical size with similarly carved stretchers was sold, Drouot-Montaigne, Mes. Ribeyre, et al., Paris, March 16, 1998; an armchair with similarly carved legs in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is illustrated, Jarry, Le Siège Français de Louis XIII à Napoléon III, pl. 2, no. 5.
