Description

the leather-lined rectangular top above a frieze drawer fitted with compartmentalized lidded boxes, flanked by drawers running the entire depth of the top, all over two banks of three graduated drawers, the opposing side fitted with a frieze drawer above dummy drawers, the sides with astragal moldings and fitted at the back with hinged paneled doors opening to portfolio slides, raised on tapering square legs; later loop handles stamped HJ at the backs.

Condition

Very nice quality, leather panel to top with scuffs, scratches and burns, faded and with water staining, beautiful mahogany with good figure, old marks and scratches, handles replaced, losses to moldings, sides slightly warped, water damage to sides, feet scuffed, slight rippling to dummy drawer fronts.
