with a tambour front opening to an arangement of small drawers and pigeonholes and with a pull out writing slide centered by a leather panel rising on ratchet support above a central satinwood banded drawer above an arch flanked at each side by two smaller drawers, the sides and back paneled to simulate drawers, each side fitted with a pull out slide and supported on molded square tapered legs with brass casters.  Later handles, restored.

In restored condition, repolished the usual old marks, scratches and scuffs, and small replacements to moldings, crossbandings and stringings, the top with long lateral age crack with some infilling and smaller cracks and with losses to banding of the right front corner, the handles replaced, escutcheon to lock for tambour lacking, drawer linings all with old age cracks, legs reglued, the front legs now supported by inset metal angle brackets, casters slightly loose.
