- each 142cm. high, 35cm. diameter; 4ft. 8in., 1ft. 1¾in.
the circular tops on carved griffin supports with lion's head monopodia tripod bases

Huttleston Rogers Broughton (1896-1966), 1st Lord Fairhaven, Anglesey Abbey, Cambridgeshire.
Thence by descent.
Condition
Colour slightly darker overall and gilding less orange and much darker than in the catalogue photograph. The gilding is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Minor chips and surface cracks throughout. Decoration refreshed. The tapering vase section on both has been restored. A striking and extremely decorative pair in overall good condition.
