Condition

Colour overall of painting less yellow and more ivory than in the catalogue photograph and gilding is more natural. There is some very minor retouching to the painting and gilding. Reblocked. One of the chairs has a side-rail that has a different colour to the rest, and is probably a later replacement. The rear seat-rail of one chair has the signature Angello Raspo? There is very attractive detail to the carving. Joints sound and sturdy. They are an unusual model and in very good condition overall and can be placed immediately. Highly recommended. Measurements: Total height: 90 cm; Floor to seat: 48 cm; W= 47 cm; D= 42 cm.
