Description

each with an arched open back with a stylised scallopshell cresting above a pierced baluster splat and drop-in serpentine padded seat, on cabriole legs joined by an x-form stretcher, terminating in paw and ball feet, the frame carved with rocaille, scrolls and foliage

Condition

Old very minor marks, chips and scratches and restorations, which have been very well executed. Attractive patina. Evidence of old minor worm which appears to be no longer active. Joints sound and sturdy. In overall good condition.
