Description
- 85cm. high, 120cm. wide, 52cm. deep; 2ft.9in., 3ft. 11¼in., 1ft. 8in.
of serpentine bombé form, with a moulded top above two drawers inlaid with trelliswork parquetry, with quarter-veneered sides, above a shaped apron on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet, with gilt-bronze rocaille and foliate cast mounts throughout
Condition
Colour slightly more reddish brown and much more attractive than the catalogue photograph. Old very minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age. Very minor section of veneer missing on the edge of the rear right leg which can easily be replaced and old minor restorations to the veneer which have been very well executed and are hardly noticeable. Very attractive casting to the mounts. Good small size which can be placed easily. A rare piece in good original condition.
