- 82cm. high, 146cm. wide, 72cm. deep; 2ft. 8½in., 4ft. 9¾in., 2ft. 4½in.
the rectangular top above a double panelled front carved with pairs of lunettes, the stiles carved with stylised foliage and with raised geometric motifs
Condition
There are old marks, dents and scratches consistent with age and use. There is a horizontal construction crack across the top, together with another smaller crack, which can easily be filled. The top whole piece has the remains of red paint. The battens beneath the top are later replacements. The clasp to the lock is now missing and the candlebox appears to be a later replacement. There is a construction crack running across the front panel and both the side panels, which can be filled. The back panels are probably later replacements.
