Description
- 52cm. high, 24cm. diameter; 1ft. 8½in. 9½in.
with a pierced basket cast with stylised heart-shaped motifs and foliage with a later white frosted glass liner on tripod base cast with scrolls terminating in paw feet, on a concave-sided triform stretcher on winged lion feet
Condition
The basket is slightly warped, but this can be easily hammered out. Some very minor tarnishing to gilt-bronze. Attractive detail to casting. There are some pin-sized holes around the rim at the basket which cannot be explained. The white liner stands slightly proud of the basket. An unusual lot in overall good condition.
