Literature

Hauteur Om 72, ' which probably refers to this unusual model which are quite unique with three columns.

A related set of four candelabra signed by Thomire was sold as lot 222, in these Rooms, 10th June 1999

Condition

Colour more golden, less acid yellow, much more attractive than in photograph. Very good quality casting. Some very minor tarnishing which can easily be cleaned off and some very minor pitting. On one candelabrum, one candlebranch has been resoldered and touched up with gold paint. Drilled for electricity. On another candelabrum there has also been some resoldering of a candlearm, the colour of which is slightly more pink than the rest. On another candelabrum one of the candlearms has a break and although the arm is still attached, it is a bit unstable and would benefit form resoldering and on the same candelabrum there is a small square insert protruding slightly inside the base of the columns but this does not detract from the piece. A rare model, in overall very good condition. Recommended.
