STRUCTURE The canvas has been lined. PAINT SURFACE The painting appears to be in good, clean condition. There are some signs of re-touching to the face. ULTRAVIOLET Ultraviolet light reveals additional re-touching to the background. There appears to be a layer of varnish obscuring some possible re-touching. FRAME The painting is unframed.
