STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in fair condition. There is a degree of surface dirt throughout, and two small areas of repair, upper centre and upper left of the canvas. There is evidence of old retouching to the sky and infilling of cracquelure in the water.
ULTRAVIOLET
Ultraviolet light reveals some heightening to the foliage and the fenceposts in the foreground.
