Condition
The canvas has been lined. The paint surface is quite dirty and the work should clean well. There are a few retouchings in the sky which have discoloured.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some retouchings in the sky and in the foliage to the upper left of the composition. There are some retouchings in the river.
Held in a gilt wood frame.
