Three-quarter length, seated, wearing a blue dress with a red lining, holding some blossom
Condition
The canvas has been lined.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a restored damage just above the flowers in the upper left hand corner. There is another restored vertical damage to the right of the stone urn. There is further evidence of some extensive retouching to the sitter's dress. Other touches to the background, and to the sitter's face.
Held in a gilt composite frame.
