Hand-colored lithograph, a proof from the deluxe edition of Catlin's North American Indian Portfolio, with the title added, published by Catlin, London and New York, 1844-5, on thick wove paper mounted to card; together with Karl Bodmer (after), Travels in the Interior of North America: Three Prints, after watercolors by Bodmer, published by Ackermann & Co., London, 1841, and with the blindstamp, on various papers, with margins, apparently in good condition apart from pale light- stain, slight surface soiling,  the third Bodmer print re-colored, framed  (4 prints) *(only the first examined out of the frame)

Condition

Only the first print examined out of the frame. The mount margins with mat stain, significant surface soiling and creases and nicks at the mount sheet edges. Pale discoloration in the image in the form of faint foxing.
