Hand-colored engraving with etching and aquatint, by R. Havell, c. 1824, on wove paper with the J. Whatman 1830 watermark, with wide margins, generally in good condition except the colors attenuated, the sheet edges discolored and with short tears and nicks, a few pale fox marks, framed
Condition
Generally in good condition as catalogued. The colors are faded and the sheet edges are discolored, particularly at right and left. There is a short unrepaired tear at right sheet edge and another at the lower sheet edge, both measure c. 3/4 inch. Additional nicks and short tears appear, particularly at right. THe remains of two tape hinges are at the upper sheet edge verso.
