Description

  • height of water urn on stand 15 7/8in. (40.3cm)
comprising: Teapot, Coffee Pot, Hot Water Urn on Stand, hot Milk Jug, covered Sugar Bowl, covered Butter Dish with Liner, Creamer, Waste Bowl, Sugar Tongs, and two Salts, chased with fanciful architectural scenes including pagodas, bridges, boats, exotic birds, and butterflies surrounded by dense grapevines, flowers and foliage, finials modeled as grape bunches and a cow, water urn with eagle handle, marked on bases; together with an English silver goblet, Messrs. Barnard, London 1836, an English silver Kings Pattern soup ladle and two salt spoons, William Eaton, London, 1873, 1874, a silver-plated well-and-tree tree plater with matching sauceboat and stand, Reed & Barton, 20th century, and pair of Sheffield plated covered entree dishes with slip-lock handles

butter dish, liner and base of water urn monogrammed JMW, other pieces with monogramm probably removed, cover of butter dish needs straigtening, interior of water urn with solder around spigit opening, goblet with dent, otherwise good condition
