of shaped rectangular form, embossed and chased overall with peonies and scrolling foliage beneath a basketweave band, the conforming foot raised on four bracket feet applied with flowerheads, the loop handles flanked by rooster heads, derived from Chinese jade carvings, marked on base and numbered 4627-1603
