Description

  • length of tray over handles 30 1/4in. (76.7cm), height of kettle on lampstand 13in. (33cm)
comprising Teapot, Coffee Pot, Creamer, covered Sugar Bowl, Waste Bowl Kettle on Lampstand and two-handled Tray, in late 18th century style, each of oval boat form, partly gadrooned and engraved with bands of running leaves, the gadrooned spouts topped with lion's heads and the bale handles issuing from lion's masks, each engraved with monogram EST on one side, the shaped oval tray with leaf-wrapped reeded band at rim, center with matching monogram, underside with presentation inscription, marked on bases

Condition

some wear to tray and minor scratches from use, missing spirit lamp and creamer, tea set with overall wear to highspots and engraving, kettle with ding but not through, otherwise good
