James Wayland (Weyland), Jr. (abt 1760 d. 1828)  He was a private in Capt. Joseph Walker's Stratford Company of Col. Samuel A. Webb's 3rd Connecticut Regiment from January 1. 1781 to December 31, 1781. Married Hannah Beech in June 1782.
Descended through the Wayland family of Connecticut. 

Condition

proper left and right front knee returns missing; several bails missing; third drawer from top with a 5-1/2 in. chip to drawer lip; fourth drawer from top with a 4-1/4 in. chip to drawer lip; proper right short drawer with a 5-1/2 in. chip to drawer lip; poplar and chestnut secondary woods.
