Condition

scattered minor in-paint; yellowed varnish; flaking at bottom; restoration on the extreme left and clouds; unlined. Simon Parkes, a New York painting restorer, noted that the painting is in very good condition, not overly clean, not thinly painted except the water which was intentional. Damage and restoration of small left hand side sailboat, otherwise great condition.
