Catalogue Note
Milmilngkan is one of the artist's ancestral lands and is significant to Kuninjku people for the large number of sacred totemic sites in the area. Ngalyod is depicted in the billabong which is its home. The white arc across its body represents the spring (kun-ronj) at Milmilngkan.
