  • Synthetic polymer powder paint on composition board

  • 76 by 92 cm

Provenance

Painted at Papunya in 1971
Consignment 7, painting 3 to the Stuart Art Centre, Alice Springs
Private collection, Northern Territory

Condition

There is slight chipping to some edges of the composition board and minor red paint loss to the bullroarer. It appears that the under paint or ground colour is coming through the surface paint on both the bullroarer and desert shield (on the left hand side of the image), otherwise the work is in good condition consistant with age and use.
