Description

  • Lengths: 60 cm, 63.5 cm, 65.4 cm
consisting of an early Central Australian boomerang replete with adze markings and decorated with red ochre (Holt Collection number 103H), a North West Australian boomerang of plano-convex section, the entire surface engraved with fine linear striations running crossways, together with a returning boomerang of rare form, possibly West Australian, steeply curved of plano-convex section, with one straight arm and the other with a concave twist (Holt Collection number H75)
