Description

  • Lengths: 54 cm, 63 cm, 53 cm
one of plano-convex section, the face replete with fine adze markings, overengraved with a series of linear motifs and an engraving of a cart, the reverse with finely engraved linear zig-zag motif, another of plano-convex section with one arm shorter than the other and replete with adze markings overall and decorated with red ochre and five bands of white pigment, together with a smaller example of  plano-convex section with roughly hewn markings and traces of bands of pigment

Condition

All appear unrepaired or restored and have small areas of damage from general use, one has a display hole at either end and another has a hole through created by a knot in the wood.
