Condition

The ground red and yellow pigments on the surface appear to be in good and stable condition. The white pigment being less stable and has suffered scuffing and pigment loss over the years most probably due to manhandling. Most of these smudges or scuffs should be visible in the catalogue reproduction. There has been no restoration or repairs carried out on the work

Catalogue Note

The painting is sold with an accompanying Waringarri Arts certificate, together with an annotated diagram indicating that the large form at the base of the painting represents hills known as Ngayadi Ngayadi while the three forms above illustrate limestone hills called Minjiwul.
