Condition
There is scuffing to the edges and corners predominantly to the pink and white ochres.There is slight cracking to the black pigment . The painted surface area appears stable and in good condition consistent with age and use. The painting is housed in a box frame.

Catalogue Note
This painting is sold with a Waringarri Arts and Crafts tag that features a diagramatic explanation of the story depicted. The shape at the top of the canvas is the Ord River (Dungudinyini) and the shape below is the Old Woman with a bullock horn. The tag reads: 'The devil took a woman, kept her in a cave, eventually she appeared with 'bullock horns'. People looked for her but couldn't find her. Eventually they found out what happened.'
